Announcement
Welcome to my shop! I work with quality materials, often upcycling things that might otherwise be discarded. I love creating interesting, artful, and sometimes useful items for home or personal adornment. I'm inspired by nature, architecture, great design, ordinary objects, irony, beauty, the rituals of a life lived, conversations, and on and on.
My paper cuts are all hand cut. The paper is slowly cut away and what is left behind leaves a design, utilizing positive and negative space. I use an exacto blade on a variety of papers, most archival safe, but sometimes using old maps and ephemera. My papercuts are mounted on art quality papers and are ready for framing.
I also love taking blade to scrap wood. Creating something beautiful or functional from wood that would otherwise go to waste.

5 out of 5 starsI'm still amazed at the detail that went into this custom order for shadow puppets. Everything from the tiny feet of the birds to the bow of the violin was just perfection. Jacqueline was easy to work with, quick to respond, and everything arrived before the date we agreed on. I heartily recommend Jacqueline and Smooth Pebble!
